Would you like to make your own jeans, but consider the process too difficult?
If so, this class is for you. In this 4 part class over 2 days, we’ll be focusing on the tricky details involved in making jeans, including zipper fly fronts, pockets, and topstitching.
We will use the Ginger Jeans pattern by Closet Case. We’ll cover the tricky parts of construction during class, but some time outside of class may be required to finish your pair of jeans.
You will also need to come into the store on Friday 3 April between 3pm and 5pm, to meet with Bex, She will guide you with your fabric choice, and the preparation required to start the class. You can also purchase the notions you will need. There will be a 10% discount on fabric purchases during this visit. You will need to wash your fabric and trace your pattern, so that you are ready to start on Saturday.
This is an advanced sewing class. You must know how to follow a pattern, be able to trace your pattern and be confident with your sewing machine. You will also need to be confident with an overlocker, and we will have 2 or 3 available for your use in class.
